Medical
Devices - Support new product development and apply QE skills as a core team
member. Responsibilities include maintaining design control standards in
R&D and assessing systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Identification and implementation of quality control checks in manufacturing
process in a new medical device. Develop and implement measurement techniques
to assess product quality and reliability. Performs statistical analysis
supports pre-production design with respect to system/component validations and
product and process FMEAs. Conducts internal and external audits to verify
compliance to applicable regulations. BS in engineering or scientific
discipline with 5-7 years experience in the medical device field preferably in
an R&D quality role. Individual will be accountable to the project
team and platform manager for timely completion of the quality related aspects
of the new medical device.
Senior
Quality Assurance Engineer
Our client seeks a Senior Quality
Assurance Engineer’s whose primary
responsibility shall be to plan and implement quality systems improvements. The
Sr. QA Engineer shall have a minimum of a four-year degree in a science and
seven years’ quality engineering experience in a medical device manufacturing
environment. Individual must have a
thorough knowledge of inspection methods, sampling plans, statistical analysis,
and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Experience with ISO9000/EN46000 and ISO14000 highly desirable. This
position is located in NH.
Our client is a worldwide leader in microcellular plastics technology is seeking an Extrusion Development Manager. This individual will report to the V.P. of Engineering and be responsible for process support to their extrusion customers. The initial responsibilities will be to provide process support both remote and on site as well as conduct feasibility studies on laboratory equipment. It is anticipated this individual will then grow into the position to provide complete technical program management for selected accounts. This individual will also have significant interaction with engineering design on equipment and die designs for extrusion customers. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a preference for Mechanical Engineer and 5 to 8 years of experience in extrusion preferably in foam extrusion and thermoplastic vulcanates (TPV’s).
Reports to the Manager of the Equipment Group and is responsible for the design
of injection units for Modular Upgrades.
This involves finalizing screw and barrel drawings based on standardized
designs, layout and sizing of heater bands and thermocouples and proper
dimensioning of shutoff nozzles. Ccandidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering and 2 to 5 years of experience in design of extrusion or
injection molding equipment. The
candidate must also be able to interact with multiple functions within the
company as well as the supplier base and demonstrate initiative in problem
solving. The position is at company headquarters in Woburn, MA with limited
travel.
This client is the specialist in the design,
manufacture, and marketing of high-quality constant temperature equipment
including refrigerated bath/circulators, chillers, immersion coolers and
water-to-water heat exchangers which solve cooling and temperature control
problems in every conceivable market. This position will manage several
projects simultaneously and be accountable for project timeliness and project
costs. Strong communication and influencing skills a must. Create and maintain
the processes for ensuring complete and appropriate documentation of projects
(in and outside of engineering) including engineering drawings, design review
and FMEA records. Strong working knowledge of various
project management tools used, such as MS Project. Bachelor's degree in
Engineering or an equivalent discipline; an MBA is highly desirable. Ability to
understand German a plus.
Performs in-house and on-site demos of rheometers for potential customers.
Supports field sales in finding the right technical solution for customer
problems. Provide application support for existing customers. Administers
training courses (individual and in classroom form) for existing and potential
customers. Performs sample testing in the application lab. 2+ years in Sales,
Application or Customer Support function, knowledge of Rheology, Proficient in
all MS office applications, B.S., Major in Chemistry, Chemical Technology,
Chemical Engineering or Physics, 30% travel.
